The 2009 MDA Poker Ride is fast approaching! Last minute details are being addressed and we are hoping to have some nice weather for our ride this year.

     Registration starts at 9:00 AM at UMass's Alumni Stadium on University Dr. in Amherst. The last group of bikes will be leaving at 11:00 AM. As always, the course will remain a secret until the morning of the ride because of the "Guess the Mileage" contest. The registration fee ($25 per bike, $10 per additional rider) includes a T-shirt and the BBQ that follows the ride.

     This year's BBQ will feature live music will feature by Angry Johnny and the Killbillies, raffles, and awards for "Best Poker Hand," "Worst Poker Hand," and more.

     T-shirts will be included in the registration fee for both riders and passengers. Additional T-shirts will be available for sale at the BBQ.

     All proceeds of our annual Poker Ride benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the official charity of the IAFF. We look forward to seeing you at this year's event. Stay safe.
